What we are doing with your donations

The New York National Guard Family Readiness Council, Inc. was formed in 2007 to aid New York National Guard Soldiers and Airmen and their families in times of need. Since our inception, we have helped families with financial grants who suffered from Hurricanes Sandy and Irene and Tropical Storm Lee, house fires, medical conditions, cancer treatments, unexpected expenses, underemployment and unemployment caused from numerous deployments.

We unfortunately have given money through our Wounded Warrior Program for families to temporarily relocate because of a war related injury so that they may be near their hospitalized Soldier. The Family Readiness Council also sponsors families during the holiday season and programs for children of New York National Guard service members. During Hurricane Sandy we gave Visa Gift Cards to families so that they were able to replace food and personal items.

We are a 501(c)(3) that relies on the support of the community in which our New York National Guard men and women reside in. Thank you for your support.
